I’ve said this from the very beginning. Lakers guards and even Bron don’t really comprehend how insanely athletic and absurd of alley oop finisher Hayes is. If he gets a clean run you got to let him go get it, because most of the time – he will.

I love how Jax played last night. That dunk on the pass from Austin was unbelievable. While I would love to see Wood start, I’d be just as happy if Ham decided to start Jax because he could be our perfect JaVale McGee.
I also like Wood next to AD for spacing purposes but including Hayes as part of the starting lineup would really give the Lakers the second big boost in positional size to go with the wings playing two guard.
Lakers best starting lineup might just be 1 guard and 4 forwards.
Starters: Russsell, Reddish, James, Davis, Hayes
Backups: Reaves, Christie, Hachimura, Prince, Wood
What happens when Vando and Gabe are healthy?

When healthy, we begin to run into a minutes crunch. Can’t get everyone on the court. Then it becomes an exercise in managing expectations and players’ psyches. That’s where a trade might be useful.
