With LeBron and AD plugged in, any number of combinations could work for starting/closing lineups. Or just any lineups. It’s quite an advantage to have two All-NBA 1st Team players that can play multiple positions on both sides of the court as a baseline. https://t.co/nZrVIv2Ygz

For Dennis it matters, should matter to us. Let him start. Alex does not care that he comes off the bench.
Yep.
Since they traded Green for him and let Bradley walk, uh, yeah.
I tend to agree with you, Sean. We want to re-sign Dennis next offseason so you want to keep him happy. You also have to remember how impactful Rondo playing with LeBron was in the playoffs. Dennis starting could be part of the Lakers’ ultimate load management strategy for LeBron.
As for does it matter? The Lakers 10 man rotation is so strong both on offense and defense, that no matter who starts, the second unit is still a killer. In the end, we have 10 guys who could easily be starters on most teams. That’s unmatched depth and versatility. I thought we were deeper and more talented last year than the competition and that proved true in the playoffs but nothing like we have this year.
