Great role player but not untouchable.
No, not untouchable but you need to bring back impact not ‘I hope he’s not still injured’ or ‘I hope he can take that next step’ kind of players. Again, considering the cost to impact ratio it’s hard to find another player that you could bring that can replace what Alex does for this team. Take away LeBron and one wonders how his game would look, especially on offense. James and Davis make guys look better than they are. Same way Kobe and Pau and Kobe and Shaq did.
This article is well worth the read. Interesting trend in un-drafted players bringing more and more impact to the game every year.
Based on how successful our scouting has been, filling out the roster with a couple of second rounders could be a smart move.
