WHO GOES TO BENCH WHEN LEBRON RETURNS?I like Marcus Smart starting although I get the concern about the minutes but having his defense in the starting lineup is almost a required statement for Lakers imo. Just need to watch his minutes.I can deal with Marcus' lack of size… https://t.co/W9FeVEdaEr— LakerTom (@LakerTom) November 11, 2025
Rui is not even in your rotation Tom? Bench one of the best shooters in the NBA? What a basketball mind you have.
My bad, Michael. Rui should have been the backup power forward and Lakers 6MPY candidate. Not a starter.
Just for lineup purposes snd size it might have to be Rui. I think they’ll start off by having Smart come off the bench but that might change. Could be matchup driven, to some degree, as well.
Won’t be a concern since that clown isn’t coming back. You really think a dude who’s been the most iron of anyone we’ve ever seen is suddenly sidelined by sciatica? Coincidentally, the first time he’s no longer a team’s focal point, has a contract that’s expiring due to the team’s decision, has run out of “moves,” and is holding on for dear life to that precious no trade clause being his last bit of control. GTFOH, dude is jaking it and likely never dons the purple and gold again, and thankfully not a minute too soon. He’s just not worth the trouble anymore, and definitely not worth the cap hit.
Maybe playing Bronnie has been to showcase his skills as Daddy may want Bronnie to get a championship with him wherever he decides to go. I was thinking the team picking up the year on Dalton Knecht, unnecessarily early was aimed at making him more of a trade asset. At least this time, they didn’t overdo it (Vanderbilt, way too early for way too much…and now he’s basically un-tradable” (sic)….
