The Pacers have no center and 14 million available. We have 8 mil. Basically if the Pacers want him, they can get him. I wonder how badly Ayton wants to win.
I think being waived means he gets the same amount of money regardless. All paying him more means is his salary owed by Portland gets a little offset to them. My guess is he’d wanna be in LA over Indy, especially an Indy team about to go nowhere fast.
He worked out a buyout with the Trailblazers. I heard that 10 mil was the amount he gave back to the trailblazers.
