Trezz was part of the two lineups that dominated the Nuggets in the second half.
Marc Gasol defensive rating last night: 112.2 worst on team.
Montrezl Harrell defensive rating last night: 84.0 best on team.
Trezz was super pumped last night. He knew he was under the microscope and he showed up big!!!
I agree. There are still times, especially in PNR’s where Trezz needs to improve, but when he’s in a small ball lineup with LeBron or AD and we’re playing aggressive and trapping and doubling, his mobility and athleticism is an improvement over Keef. I still think we’ll see Morris get PT in the playoffs when we need shooting but right now I think it’s Kuz who’s stolen his minutes more than Trezz.
When Trezz plays the five, AD takes the tough centers like Jokic and Embiid. Unless Marc get start hitting his shots, Trezz is going to play the big minutes at the five and Marc is going to play only to start the first and third quarters like McGee.
