I like that Dennis wants to start and is saying it. As I said before, he chafed at not starting in Atlanta. Lakers want to re-sign him next season so he’s likely to start.

I love the idea of he and Trezz destroying other teams’ benches but Dennis could also use a second playmaker and third scorer to give LeBron and AD an easier early season.
I think because Dennis is more of defender against opposing point guards, that Matthews might be a better fit alondside Schroed but KCP was clearly the third or fourth best player on a big new contract.
Dennis at the 1 and Kenny at the 2 are where the money is.
They should start and Wes and Alex should come off the bench.
A Schroder, KCP, LeBron, AD, and Gasol starting lineup is going to be a juggernaut at both ends of the court. Dennis is a big upgrade over Rondo or Avery. KCP is Klutch.
Like it not, it will work and you follow them up with 2 lockdown defenders in Matthews and Caruso, OUCH!
