The Lakers have many looming questions in their backcourt as they head into the offseason, and depending on how some of those decisions go, could be in the market for another point guard. With the help of @beyondtheRK, we made the case for D.J. Augustin. https://t.co/8KhVBXdFV4

I hate small guards who can’t defend.
I definitely like DJ Augustine, although my preference would be Dennis Schroader. Augustine can carry the scoring load when buckets are hard to come by. Think about this past postseason when the Lakers seemed stagnant every time LeBron took a breather or when they couldn’t seem to score for long stretches, or even at the beginning of games. Not sure about his defense, but didn’t Nick Young learn how to become a good defender before he left? Sometimes it’s the coaches and the environment that can catapult one’s defensive acumen.
