This is great news for Lakers as Raptors are probably their best potential trading partner where they might be able to swap two picks for Anunoby or for a package of Trent Jr, VanVleet, and Boucher.
Time for the Lakers to pounce and go for the kill? There can’t be a better time.
lol, this doesn’t say “gettable” just that MU will take your call and demand an outrageous price for your troubles.
I don’t see us having the assets to trade with these guys but the one thing that could work in our favor is MU should still be on the job 5 years out.
The Raptors asking price for OG have risen to Donovan Mitchell proportions. It may come done some but probably not close to what we have to offer. I would be all in giving up those picks for OG but I don’t think that will be enough.
If there is a GM out there who might appreciate the unique potential value of the Lakers post-LeBron picks based on what happened with the post-Kobe picks, it’s Masai Ujiri. Rob’s had close calls with Raps in the past. Let’s see if he can close a deal. Lots of options there who are great fits for the Lakers. Doesn’t have to be just Anunoby, although he might be worth adding a swap for 2028.
