Mo Bamba has fallen out of Magic rotations and Magic’s playin hopes have been shattered by Fultz’s injuries. KCP would be key piece for them as future starting shooting guard to go with Fultz. Magic also get out from under the $10 million player option for Aminu, whose first 2 of his 3-year contract have been a bust.
Lakers get a 22-year old shot blocker with a 7′ 10″ wingspan, a 98.2 defensive rating, and 3.3 blocks per 36 minutes. Mo also has potential as a stretch 5, shooting 32.6% on 1.6 attempts per game.
They also get a 6′ 8″ 220 lb potential elite 3&D wing defender in Al-Farouq, although he’s coming off a major knee injury and is just now ready to return to action. He had a 100.1 defensive rating last season in 18 games before reinjuring his knee.
