The trade creates enough cap space for the Pels to enter the Lowery sweepstakes. Good move by the Pels.

The Pels have so many young players that 10th pick wasn’t that important.

Yup, could see Pels do a S&T Ball for Lowry.

Bledsoe won’t be too happy backing up Jah in Memphis, feels like the Grizz still got a trade deadline move to find EB a home.

I think the Grizzlies will be the winners in the short term, but the Pelicans will place themselves for greener pastures long term.

Grizzlies can afford to wait on a big fish, here Buba. Ja will be extended (Rookie Max), Clarke and Xavier Tillman plus Porter…a lot of decisions…

Good point, Sean. My point is the immediate reward the Grizzlies can scoop out of this trade while still maintaining the advantage of keeping the core of the team longterm.
Magicman says
And if Adams does develop a 3pt shot, they move him for capital
Buba says
yup

Pelicans getting rid of the players who can’t provide spacing for Zion. Exactly what the Lakers need to do with players who can’t provide spacing for LeBron and AD.
