I would watch out for OKC here. Their biggest weakness is size. They have more draft picks than they will ever be able to use. Some young prospects to send as well. He would be perfect for them.
Hey that’s what I said😊
I think Cam may come back as well. After showing some promise in the first part of the year he hurt his ankle and was in and out and missed 34 games mostly in the 2nd half of the season. So he really didn’t have the opportunity to play himself into a better contract. As for Hayes, he’s the only one of our minimum deals that did play himself into a better deal. If I were running a rebuilding team I would snatch him up and let him develop.
That’s good news. While he was a disappointment on offense, they were not going to find a better player at the minimum. Hopefully in a different system he can regain his scoring touch this year.
It’s not steals or blocked shots where Lebrons defense has slipped DJ. It’s getting out on shooters and contesting shots, and it’s staying in front of quick players as well. Thats where he’s dropped off. He takes defensive positions off to conserve his energy. And that’s okay, he makes up for it on offense. I’m fine with LeBron at the 4. But you hear people wanting to move AD to the 4 and bring in another center. I do not want LeBron chasing wing players on the perimeter at 40, unless you want to run him into the ground. At the 4 he sits back and reads the offense and makes plays. Thats what he is best suited for at this stage of his career.
