Finally got a chance to watch the podcast. Hey, I thought this was one of the most entertaining podcasts we’ve had. You, me, Joe, and TJ made a great quartet. Nice to have some variation but we should repeat that combination. Worth listening to, Lakerholics. Thanks, Gerald.

Funny how the reasons people show up or don’t show up for any specific podcast are often misrepresented. For the record, I’ve offered to be a guest after each game, making sure Gerald was not forced to go solo. I offered the same last night but asked to come on Sunday instead. Wasn’t related to my ability or willingness to show up after a tough loss, something I believe I’ve always been the one Gerald could count on to be there. Anyways, good job by Gerald and Jamie.

Good podcast and first opportunity for Joe Soro and me to on together with Gerald. Enjoyed the banter and great conversations about the game, LeBron’s offense, AD’s defense, Monk’s ascension, and Reaves perfect fit with the stars.
Tomorrow night’s game against the Sixers is critical. Lakers need to win that game so they can return home with road wins over the Magic, Nets, Sixers, Hornets, and Hawks. 5-1 record on the Grammy trip with 4 straight wins after AD returned is the goal.
That would be the impetus to move the Lakers into the top six as the Lakers fine tune for the playoffs and make their final trades and buyout moves to prepare for the playoffs.

Great opening by Gerald and great initial comments from Jamie about Vogel and his offense. This road trip will save or cost Frank his job.
Agree with Joe that we need to move Westbrook midseason. Will need a third team but will make trade. I still think there is a chance for Lakers to pull it together but it’s going to take a perfect storm of good fortunre.

Agreed, much better effort. Utah has been slumping and we did what we needed to do to keep that slump alive.
-Nunn, what could have been will never be known.
-Russ with the dunk of the year (although he did pull a Blake Griffin and use Gobert’s shoulder a lil bit to get that extra lift)
-Another decent TO game over all
-Regarding the Bradley starting over Monk debate: I think that if Frank is gonna go down on the hill he’s going down his way. Especially against a team like Utah. The starting line up are The Defenders and the bench is The Avengers. Defenders aren’t over-powered, god-like super hero types. They have an ability or a skill or a small set of powers that work best in a team environment. The bench guys have a lot more firepower potential but still need to fine tune those abilities to better harmonize and reduce unintended casualties. He moved Ariza into the starting five and kept Dwight there so match up with Gobert and
-MMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOO All Starrrrrr!-
Just saw I forgot to end my point on Frank. He’s going down his way, if the rumors of him being fired soon are to be taken seriously. I can live with that and He’s always awarded vets. The LeBron at the 5 was a function of COVID and injuries, a good tool to have as well, but not really the identity Frank envisioned. I can live with that.

Despite the Lakers not making any trades, Gerald and I had a great time during our second straight Lakers Fast Break Live Trade Deadline Podcast yesterday from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm PST. I know it’s a long listen but there were so many great conversations about what the Lakers need to do that it’s worth listening to a double speed and slowing down during the juicy parts. Great job as usual keeping the show hopping by Gerald and excellent discussions about what’s next for the Lakers
