  Sean made the best argument for why the Lakers have to trade with the Pacers last night, which was there is no way the team can tank with the Pelicans trying to get Wembanyama. Lakers don’t tank or quit. That’s not how we go.

    I could’ve sworn we were tanking all those years when we ended up with Julius, D.Russell, Lonzo, B.I., etc. Maybe that was somebody else…….

    Lakers couldn’t tank right those years nor make the right draft choices to have a real franchise core. That’s a failing of the FO. Now they’ve finally got a team bad and gutless enough to have the overall worst record and they do it when they don’t even own their pick. Let’s hope NO has a bad run of their own and the Lakers can at least get a pick in the middle of the draft while simultaneously only losing a pick outside the top 3 of their own.
