You have to keep perspective, Dave. Lakers are 7-3 in last 10 games. This was a winnable game even though the other team had two guys who were unstoppable. I have no problems with how we’re playing. We have two winnable games in this mini-road trip and we’ll be at .500 by Wednesday evening.

DJ, I remember throughout the season your genuine concern about LeBron’s usage. I have all along had that concern too.
There is no question the Lakers might have unintentionally run him into the ground because of the bad roster we had earlier.
When a person is getting old, at some point the body becomes so fragile and injury prone to the point where even a non-contact situation can cause injury.
Nobody wants to see that happen to LeBron, but here we are – the old man is strapped to father time’s gurney ready to face reality. Here is hoping he gets back soon rather than later to help with the push for the playoffs.
Unfortunately, it is looking more and more like time to pay the piper.
