game. We lost by 2 and missed 6 FT’s. The Mavs many 3’s were WIDE OPEN. LeBron played 40. He and AD dominated with help from prince and Reaves. We just gave them too many open looks. LT, you always liked Exum right?

DLo couldn’t deal with Exum’s defense and disappeared. Exum had best shooting night of his entire pro career. Play this game again 10 times and Lakers win 7 or 8. Flush it and move on. Lucky Mavs and Eff the homer refs.

Exum had made 8 threes all year. He made 7 tonight. The game plan was to give him that shot because he is not a good shooter. Sometimes you just tip your hat. The biggest problem was 24 points off of turnovers. That had moer to do with the loss then the Mavs hot shooting.

Who is gonna hit a 3 and stop fouling? They make FT’s and we don’t! I think we’re playing around. Pacers playing waaay better moving speed than we are. Tellin ya the Pacers ain’t those Pesky Pels.

You mean he is skipping the game tonight? Besides being a father, could that be another form of load management? Speaking of load management, I think it is less prevalent so far this season. Could that be the result from the NBA trying to take a tough stance against it? For example, the likes of Kawhi and Paul George haven’t taken time off, even in back-to-back games. Just curious.

Yes, I wasn’t very clear on what I was saying, lol! I read where he may take some (few) games off because Kids had games same night as Lakers. Who knows for sure, but what a super Dad either way to think Family first. I remember how many times I coached my little League Team an early game and then played a twinbill with my Men’s Softball team. Miss that so much, but fond memories! : )

The Lakers never had the trading chips to get KD. Only stars we have a shot at all have major issues. Age, durability, no defense, ball dominant, problem child.
Best shot would be for a superstar who hasn’t worked out whom the Lakers can rehabilitate. Oh, wait, we tried that with Westbrook.
Why am I thinking we’re going to get Zach LaVine without giving up too much in 3 for 1 trade with a goal to do with him what we’ve done with Monk, Schroder, Wood, Reddish, etc?
Truth is, LaVine might be a good candidate for a move to the Lakers. Health risk is one reason why he could be had for probably what amounts to just our 2029 FRP with light protection.
Would rather give that to get Myles Turner and double down on size and dominating PIP and MFT than trying to get guards who can score but can’t defend. Start Cam and Vando to defend opposing backcourt. Then LeBron guard front court player like we want. Yet, we get a huge backcourt with 3 6′ 8″ players. That would be a killer defensive and offensive team that would dominate PIP and MFT.

A very nice human being. I had a chance to meet her in 1978 when Jimmy Cater visited my birth country of the Gambia. I still remember that day. I also met the soon-to-be President George W. Bush in 1991.
