Marc Gasol S&T with Raptors with years 2 & 3 not guaranteed?

One huge limiting factor of a Marc Gasol sign-and-trade to the Lakers is that S+T deals must be for at least three seasons and option years do not count.

That works for lower-end players because you can put in non-guarantees but not for talented players taking discounts.
