It is being reported that the Suns are waving CP3. I would not be surprised if he lands on the Lakers. Honestly I would not pay more than the minimum.

So if the Suns are paying him $15.8M, does that mean he can go out and get an offer for $20M and the team would only have to pay$4.2M of this salary?
Or does he just get the minimum plus the money from the Suns.
I’d love Chris on a minimum but not so sure what I would pay over that.
The Suns are buying out the remaining guaranteed part of his contract making him a complete free agent. He can negotiate any deal he wants. In this market with little cap space except for rebuilders I wonder what he can actually get. At this point of his career is he going to chase a ring or cash? In this market I don’t think he can do both.
Wonder if his desire to play with LeBron will lead him to the Lakers. There’s no way we should pay him the NT MLE. Might be willing to give him the BAE for $4.4M for 3 years. He has to feel Lakers c/b his best shot at a ring.
Well, we could have the best all CRUTCH team in the league, specially if we add Porzy too. However, worth a try.
