Agree 100% with THT and Caruso. Rob building a sustainable championship team around AD while also winning with LeBron and AD right now.
There’s a possibility we could lose THT as we only have early Bird rights but the Gilbert Arenas rule limits teams offering more than the NT MLE for years 1 and 2. They can poison pill with huge salary in years 3 and 4 but Lakers could still match offer. Also, THT is a Klutch client so it’s doubtful Rich Paul would agree to a poison pill to the Lakers.
Yup. Getting guys that compliment your superstars without rocking the boat or taking away from their game is a fine art. One that not all GMs do well. Rob has done a great job in that regard.
