I don’t think a team holding pick 8…or even pick 8 to 15 would do that trade. Dalton Knecht’s value went down even before the rescinded trade. I feel he still has some growing and learning even at his age. Austin Reaves is 2 years older than him and Austin has been getting plenty of playing time. I would rather see the Lakers clear out Vanderbilt, maybe even the recovered Gabe Vincent, Kleber and definitely Shake Milton. But there’s no trade value in that group, and those salaries don’t even add up as Jamie has shown.
