That can’t be true. He’s coming off a minimum contract.
I assumed Ibaka would be whom the Lakers would give the MLE. Be interesting to see what reaction is to this Tweet by Arye.

That would be a huge blunder. There are other options I like more including just rolling with THT who shows a lot of promise and hasn’t injured his Achilles.
Not so sure dude. If he’s 80% of the player he was before the injury. I think we made out like Bandits with that production.
You could be right but I don’t know that I feel that he checks enough boxes for that amount of coin. At that price I’d be more than happy to see him end up on another team and give his agent a pat on the back/gold star.
I think Matthews would be a candidate for the $3.2M BAE or maybe the $5.6M Taxpayer MLE at best. Not $9.3M. I would prefer to use the $9.3M NT MLE on Ibaka than Wes.
I’m not even sure I can get behind the NT MLE for Serge. I feel like, on our team, at that price, given our cap constraints, you want to bring in a guy who can at least create his own shot. That changes if Bradley opts in, but I feel like even with Dennis incoming we’ll be a little short on guys who can create for themselves and others.
