I’m surprised the announcement came out with only Adrian Woj’s name on it…it seems like he was getting closer to the “coattails”….
I am never into two-way player transactions news. They just don’t play them. If they don’t play them, they shouldn’t be worth any news.
Haven’t reviewed the players yet, I favor the pickup of guys with some years in the league versus losing Reaves, Hachimura, DLo, Christie or others to go for DeRozan, Caruso or LaVine…Maybe I’m a pessimist and just feel that if they pull the trade for players like that, there would not be enough time to develop the chemistry. In fact doing a dump of Ham at this point could be disruptive at this time as well…it would take at least 10-15 games for the team and new coach to really mesh….and I’m not certain that there is an available coach out there with the skillset to deal with veterans like LeBron and Davis, and the youth (Reaves and others, including Hachimura)…the players in the middle such as Prince will go one way or another….It will take a real effort to go deep into the playoffs for LeBron 2 years in a row, carrying the burden he has to carry (mentally and physically. LeBron is playing quite well…how is he going to walk away from the game to go for the Las Vegas expansion franchise.
