Interesting that Windhorst suggests Lakers should re-sign KCP, Rondo, Morris, and Howard with raises so they turn them into valuable trading chips that can be flipped for a star after next season. He also suggests the same for Kuzma.
I’ve said similar things in the past because lack of tradable contracts has always been one of the unfortunate costs of trying to clear cap space. Sometimes, valuable trading chips are better to have than cap space. Something to say for Brian’s view. You can always move good players on good contracts.
