I continue to marvel at the job Rob Pelinka and the Lakers front office did putting this roster together and the job Frank Vogel and his staff have done deploying them.
The willingness of LeBron James and Anthony Davis to defend the opposing team’s best players is unmatched. After Ingram went off in the first quarter, Vogel switched AD on him and he basically became a non-factor.
LeBron then took over in the 4th and you could see Brandon was frustrated by the end of the game. Same with Zion, who continued to attack the rim against the Lakers and come up short.
The Lakers have so many weapons on offense and defense. There were some great moments when Schroder just dismantled Alexander-Walker or when Wes Matthews harrassed and defanged JJ Reddick. Dominating performance by Lakers.
