LAKERS DEFENSIVE RATINGS VS. NUGGETS!
What jumps out is Montrezl Harrell's team best 84.0 and Marc Gasol's team worst 112.2. The Lakers' small ball 'scramble' defense that traps, hedges, and doubles all over the court to create chaos for the opposing offense works with Trezz. pic.twitter.com/ol2jSkOZtW

Marc Gasol is quickly becoming this season’s version of JaVale McGee, a player who’s minutes are quickly becoming limited to starting the first and third quarters to eat up minutes at center so AD can play the four. Now if he can start hitting his threes and making some great passes, that could change. His defense is better than it looks but the lack of lift is a problem. I don’t know if he has dunked yet this season.
Meanwhile, Trezz has become this season’s version of Howard, the center who comes off the bench and provides energy … and offense and now defense. Lakers need to figure out how to keep Trezz after this year although it’s going to be tough since he will be looking for a big payday and we don’t have Bird rights for him.
