I mean…both of their jobs sorta hinge on his happiness and contentment with the team overall so……..not surprising.
They may not get every decision right, but the Lakers have always been good with the people side of things. It wouldn’t have been surprising for Luka to keep his options open after the trade, but they made him feel at home. And they’ll do everything they can to keep it that way.
