This team is going to remind a lot of people of the Showtime Lakers as there are going to be a lot of games that will be over at halftime. It’s going to be the Lakers version of load management.
The next 13 games are against teams where they will be heavily favored. Good chance to get the season off to a start last year when the team went 24-3 after their opening day loss to the Clippers. I would not be srprised if the Lakers went 12-1 over the next 13 games to end up with 14-2 record at the end.
