Cousins will sign a one-year, non-guaranteed deal, sources said. Houston expressed interest in signing the four-time All-Star before the NBA restart in July. Cousins serves as an upside signing, and has shown focus and drive in rehab through multiple long-term injuries. https://t.co/LUCaKrWwcj

Damn. Good luck anyway, Demarcus.
Except when you play the Lakers of course.
Surprised he and the Lakers didn’t connect.
Hope that doesn’t mean he hasn’t recovered.
I would venture that the Marc Gasol signing complicated his desire for either guaranteed role or starting spot. Also it’s common knowledge we relegated our centers to lesser roles in the playoffs. The flip side of that coin, as they say.
Could be. I suspect he may not have recovered enough for the Lakers to rely upon in a championship run. Considering the time and effort we’ve made and his relationship with AD, the Lakers probably didn’t see enough to gamble on him and opted to sign Gasol, which obviously prompted Boogie to sign with Houston. I wish him well though, except when we play the Rockets.
