Christian Wood on his Instagram live today:
“Where should I go next year? I need ideas.”
Then ended his live stream. Sounds like someone on his way out of Detroit.

Christian Wood has just moved to the #1 spot in my list of free agents the Lakers should sign with their $9.3 million MLE. The 25-year old 6’11” 214 lb power forward/center would be the perfect front court mate for Anthony Davis. He averaged 13.1 points and6.3 rebounds and shot 56.7% from the field, 38.3% from deep in 21.4 minutes per game. If he’s available for the MLE, he should be the Lakers top target.
Woods got his opportunity for a break out season with Detroit when they traded Andre Drummond, which gave Christian the chance to play center, where he excelled. After taking over as the Pistons’ starting center, Wood averaged 21.6 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, a steal and nearly a block in the 16 games before the season was suspended. He would be the perfect modern center to play alongside Anthony Davis and would give the Lakers a 4/5 combo that could do it all: Shoot and defend at all three levels. He would make Lakers unbeatable.
