Well this is interesting. If you could only choose one, who would you try to get? https://t.co/iM0wLtTQen

Lakers and Pistons could work out Rose trade this time
Good fiver, Jamie,. Thanks.
1. Lakers definitely looked gassed tonight but I also think having them be aggressive on defense and run on offense would have helped. Game gets boring with everybody standing around and not being aggressive. Just plays into the Pistons’ hands. Got to play aggressive to avoid traps.
2. Great game from Dennis. He’s really bounced back well after a string of soso games offensively. He deferred way too much to LeBron and AD at the end of the game and in OT. Very unlike him normally.
3. Agree 100% with the idea of THT getting more minutes against the Pistons. I mistakenly thought he had fouled out. His ability to attack the rim and dish or kick to open teammates is exactly what the Lakers needed then and will need tonight.
4. And after what was a second terrible game in a row, AC came through big in the clutch with an old school and new school three. That he and KCP were so hot from three is being missed sorely right now. Here’s hoping they both get back on track tonight.
5. Might have been the game with so many minutes for LeBron and AD for Frank to play Keef and Wesley. If not then, when is the question. We cold have used some veteran sharpshooting against the Pistons.
2020 year in review: Lakers 2020 was wackadoo
Clearly a controversial trade but one that could benefit both teams. Assumes Victor will sign a 3-year max extension for $32M per year. Could also assume Dennis also signs extension.
Lakers get the best player in the trade but are gambling on Oladipo returning to pre-injury form. The prize is they could end up with three superstars, a starting lineup of Oladipo, THT, LeBron, AD, and Gasol and a deep and talented bench with Kuzma, Caruso, Trezz, PJ, and Morris.
For the Lakers, it’s a trade to get them the third superstar to complement LeBron and AD and a major upgrade defensively. Victor was 3rd team All-NBA and All-Defensive 1st team. Also opens up opportunity for Talen Horton-Tucker to start alongside Oladipo with Caruso and Tucker backing them up.
Tucker would be a fantastic addition to the Lakers with his ability to defend all five positions and his penchant for drilling corner threes. He could give the Lakers more toughness and roster versatility. He could also play small ball center at times for the Lakers and be a more effective stretch five than Gasol.
For the Rockets, they get a great shooting guard under contract and an elite point guard whom they might be able to re-sign. It’s an interesting trade that could be a win for both teams.
Last day for player options postponed and new date TBD
Pulling teeth? Hahaha, that’s really funny. But that is the perfect description of the game. Those unforced turnovers were very irritating and frustrating. The Lakers were caught flat-footed and couldn’t gain any traction at all.
