Luka Doncic traveled to Spain 8 days ago to get treatment (injections) on his hamstring. Now he’s flying back to LA to finish his rehab and try to prepare for him to return as safely as possible. He realistically needs at least another 10 days. https://t.co/dhNB92yIzO— Jesse Morse, M.D. (@DrJesseMorse) April 14, 2026

The Lakers appreciate the Nuggets taking care of business.
Good luck against the Timberwolves.

While the competition was terrible, it was still good to see the Lakers’ starting lineup for the fist round of the playoffs get off to a sizzling start. The way the Lakers played these last three games is encouraging. It would be a shame if we actually win the first round but Luka and Austin can’t come back for second round. Just happy to have hope still alive. Yes, I believe in miracles.

Good to see 4 of the 5 starters as the best players the last 3 games. The other starter, Smart, looked good last night and should solidify what’s been an excellent defensive team the last 3 games. It will be tough but I think we can beat the Rockets if we can just score enough points to support our defense.

LA Wins 3rd Straight vs. Houston! Lakers’ Offense And Defense Rules
The Lakers sans Doncic and Reaves recorded their 3rd straight win vs. the Rockets sans Durant Saturday night in a 107–98 Game 1 victory where their undermanned offense sizzled and their underrated defense dominated.

5 Things: Finding Some Grit
65 games in and the team is starting to look a little sterner, little grittier. One of the ugliest first halves I’ve seen since the 90’s man. The win was one of the more impressive of the season, in my opinion. 1) Luka finding solace on the court. Sounds like his personal life has been […]

Smart move was to add Kennard and Hachimura, the team’s best two shooters. The surprise bonus was Luke being able to help replace some of the playmaking lost when Luka and Austin went down. If Ayton and Hachimura can pick up the scoring and James and Kennard the playmaking, the Lakers can beat the Rockets.
