After being exposed as overrated and lucky by the UCLA Bruins, the basketball gods punished the Zags and their corps of Christian Laetner wannabes by allowing the Baylor to embarrass them and thrash their dream of an undefeated season. End of the basketball careers for most of the players on that squad. Overhyped and overrated all year long.

It wasn’t the basketball gods but a super talented and determined Baylor team that did them in. Kudos to your Bruins for a great tournament run. UCLA deserves an assist in the Zags defeat because it was evident from the opening tip that they were mentally drained for the semis game.
