Anthony Davis will miss two to three weeks with a calf strain, per @wojespn
He will be re-evaluated after that time pic.twitter.com/MQsps4C2JU

Statement from the Lakers: “Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis underwent an MRI today. The results showed no rupture of the right Achilles tendon. Davis will miss tomorrow’s game vs. Minnesota, and will be further evaluated by team doctors upon his return to Los Angeles.”

AD MRI update: “Calf strain” which is good news bc it means no damage to the Achilles tendon itself (as I suspected based on multiple things I touched on last night). Target of return is post All-Star break. Lakers medical info has been quite general so it’s hard to discern well

OK. Good news. Now let’s get focused and get some open 3-point shots and win these 11 games until the break:
Minnesota Timberwolves, Away, Feb. 16
Brooklyn Net, Home, Feb. 18
Miami Heat. Home, Feb. 20
Washington Wizards, Home, Feb. 22
Utah Jazz, Away, Feb. 24
Portland Trail Blazers, Home, Feb. 26
Golden State Warriors, Home, Feb. 28
Phoenix Suns, Home, Mar. 2
Sacramento Kings, Away, Mar. 3
We should at least be able to go 8-3 to give us a 28-10 record at the All-Star break. Not counting the loss to Denver last night, Lakers are 4-1 this season without AD.
