Between Luka getting healthy, Vando getting lab time to work on his game and Coach Reddick getting his 1st season out of the way the Lakers truly just need time to gel. All the “LeBron wants a trade” BS noise will be tuned out once camp starts. Heck, James might even make his bombshell announcement on media day about retiring or not. The Lakers are here for all of it, even feed off it. It’s why some players wilt and some shine brighter in the laser light of being a Laker. We don’t need no trade, Luka is going to slay. LeBron gonna LeBron and the dudes on expiring deals or have something to prove are going to show up. Big.
Espn had their playoff scenarios up today. Lakers 5 or 6 seed, but otherwise irrelevant. Kinda early for that, but we know the need for summer predictions. I have high hopes, as always. I don’t think they need to post it on the wall, but they have the pieces and continuity to compete.
