Per Trevor Lane: “Lakers sources have confirmed to me that the team intends to be aggressive heading towards February’s trade deadline. They want to get a look at things early on this season and see what’s what and then go from there.”Team’s set going into the season. No way! Wow…
It has to be true Jaime if Headband Luka is putting it out there. LOL.
Criminal mismanagement if the Lakers do not have a major consolidation trade before the deadline. Grounds for immediate firing of Rob Pelinka.
Soooooo from Master Class to fired? Honestly…I’m not surprised. You’ll turn on a guy 2 games after trading for him in an overpay lol
Because, and you read it here first (or again)…there ain’t gonna be a consolidation trade for 3 big reasons: FRP, FRP, aaaaand FRP.
I say all that not because I’m anti trade (and if there’s a “can’t say no” comes along Rob better do the deal) but I honestly think they just need time together. Camp, games, road trips. Time. These are the ingredients for a team that’s successful. Lakers fans may not have the patience for a full tear down/rebuild like we saw OKC go through but we’re not building jack trading away half the team every season, either. Some form of patience is always required for things that are worthwhile.
