While some would say there’s a method to your madness, but mostly you’re just mad.
Williams will be hurt
Thybulle is as useless as Vanderbilt on offense.
Smart will be hurt, and when not hurt, pretty washed.
Love washed.
Bazley is availble for a reason
And even Washington won’t take on 23mm of uselessness that is Vincent and Vanderbilt without some real sweeteners, get that notion out of your head.
That is madness. The Wizards currently have 18 players under contract. A 2for one trade now leaves them with 4 players to cut. All for no draft considerations. Right. How about this, the Wizards according to the buzz are likely to cut him or buy him out to help get to 15 players. Why don’t we sign him then.
Oh and why would the Wizards take on Vando’s remaining contract for nothing. And the Trailblazers still have 4 centers on their roster but they will take another for one 2nd rounder in 2032? Again, madness.
Lakers do not want to take back anything but expiring contracts, which is what they get with this trade. Just need to include draft capital and maybe Knecht to sweeten deal for Blazers and Wizards.
It’s just crazy to think the Wizards would do that trade. This is a rebuilding team. They already have to cut 3 guys. Smart will be one of them. Vando has 3 years left on his contract. They absolutely will not take him. No way.
I hate to say it, but I was repulsed by the signing of Vanderbilt when they did. It was unnessarily early….IMHO, and also excessive length and cost. I think he transitioned to Klutch sports then got that contract…..read between the lines….Dalton Knecht shoulda been so lucky….seems he’s been on the “outs” since the cancelled trade….if Laravia pans out….Knecht will surely become history….Laravia is 6 months younger than Knecht. I wish to see both of them stick with the team….Vanderbilt’s contract makes him untradable now….even if he shines in the minutes he’s given this coming season, it would be really difficult to trade him by trade deadline, maybe some team really needing him to fill a hole, and Lakers would have to give up draft picks….(i’m not the expert there)….
