I agree but Lakers do not want to give up that first round pick.
They need to move a swap for a couple of seconds.
Would take a 3rd to maybe 7th team (just kidding) to do a Wiggins deal. Wiggins has an option on the 2nd year of his remaining contract. I would not give up Hachimura, and do not want to give up Knecht in a deal for him….I would give up players such as Vincent, Vanderbilt, Kleber and Milton (who will likely be available in a short time)…and reluctantly add a first swap, or 2 second rounds……I don’t feel Wiggins is an answer…..

Not worth it. Plus the Lakers would have send out 6 more million to match Wiggins 28 mil to make it work. So that is 3 contracts. Leaving us with only 13 players and no money to fill the mandatory 14 spot. If we had draft capital we could pay someone to take a player but we don’t. There is no realistic way to include Dalton in the trade,
Therealhtj…..thanks for putting it bluntly….so Wiggins is an NBA “oxygen thief”…….I’m tired of Buha’s comments now since last year….and tired of the trade talk of Knecht…maybe act quick and trade one or more of Vincent, “Vandolorian”/🤣….and Kleber if he isn’t really Kleber pre-injury….to free up roster spot???? Does anyone out there see any long term value in Koloko???? I don’t watch enough games but he looks undersized for a center/forward, and under skilled for a 25 year old…..
This would maybe be the worst move we could make. Tossing good, playable players at a 33 year old on the downside of his career? Why, so we can have another “name” on the roster who you’ll turn around and demand the front office overpay to get out from under his contract next season when it messes with a Reaves extension? Between Wiggins, Time Lord, Smart and Simmons you’ve almost put together an entire lineup of beat up has-beens…
