Long time Lakerholics may remember Dave Murphy’s excellent Searching for Slava blog. As it turns out Slava Medvendenko is currently fighting in the Ukraine. It kind of put our basketball obsessions in perspective. My prayers go out to Slava and his country.
Wow, my hat off to him. That’s bravery right there. My prayers go out to all those sacrificing their lives to save their country from evil. That the only way to resolve our differences is to kill one another is beyond me. Such a sad world we live in.
