52 years ago today, Tommie Smith and John Carlos raised a fist during the US national anthem at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City to protest racial injustice.
Despite death threats back home, Carlos said, “I was going to raise my fist no matter where I was.”

It’s really too bad that all people don’t realize that Education & Equality are great for all of us.
