Los Angeles Lakers: 3 advantages LA has over the Brooklyn Nets https://t.co/dUNXjNc0e0

1. The chemistry of the Los Angeles Lakers’ superstars and how they complement each other.
2. The Los Angeles Lakers are significantly deeper.
3. The Los Angeles Lakers are a much better defensive team.
Might as well re-name the Blog The Lakerholic Brooklyn Net’s Appreciation Society…
Nets won’t be coming out of the east. You read it here first, again.
LOL. I hope you’re right, Jamie, but I suspect the Lakers and Nets are on a collision course. Of course, the Bucks and other teams may feel differently and there are always injuries to throw a monkey wrench into the situation, but I think it’s the showdown of Big Threes everyone wants.
Mainly I don’t see them having the defensive desire to get to the NBA Finals. They’ll score on people during the regular season and then struggle when the whistles go silent on their shenanigans come playoff time. Also the NBA is limiting James Garden’s greatest weapon: ref baiting. If he adjusts well to not playing a spasmodic style of basketball designed to get one thing, to the free throw line, and instead just hoops I may revise but I’m-a-gonna wait and see. Also Kyrie has basketball as a 2nd…maybe even 3rd priority. KD cares a lot but the heart on that team falls off a lot after that. Also, and lastly, when you’re among friends and chums whom holds you accountable? Blake Griffin? Nah. ECF, at best.
Even though the Lakers have upgrade their 3-point shooting, it’s still going to be Brooklyn’s offense vs. the Lakers old school offense and defense.
In the end, I think it will come down to the Lakers size and physicality at both ends of the court giving them the edge in what could easily be a 7-game NBA Finals.
Front court size, superior depth, more power players give the Lakers a slight advantage over the Nets in my opinion. Injuries could once again be the wild card.
